Claudio Cocivera was born and raised in Sicily, where stories are the backbone of the culture. Growing up Claudio had to split his attention between the study of math and science with his passion for theater and music. He studied theater working mainly on Classical plays (from Greek authors such as Aristophanes, Sophocles, and Euripides) and worked as a tour guide combining history and myths of his hometown.
His passions combined together brought him to travel all around the world working as a Digital Transformation consultant for 10 years. After that, Claudio decided to focus on storytelling full-time and joined the Mezrab Storytelling School in 2022. His stories are a window into the life of people who had to grow up following someone else's expectations, focusing on the impact on one’s identity and the opportunities for change.
Claudio believes that not all stories need to be comfortable and by sharing the most uncomfortable ones he tries to inspire people in finding their true identity and to live up to their potential.
